hi. today, i felt like i was in 5th grade again because i had a surprise reunion with heidi, diana, and linda at a scholarship ceremony. it was very strange being with about 40 other intelligent, hard-working, crazy people...we were dressed up formally in a hotel... hm... those other scholarship winners. maybe we will meet again...in some elite gathering one day. or maybe we will never meet again. they are nice people. they seemed outgoing too. i guess we were all in a nice-person mood. or maybe we were trying to keep up with our image! but i like to think that we are all nice people at heart. it was a bit pretentious. there were hotel managers and presidents too. and there was a luncheon that was a bit pretentious. i guess pretention is not all that bad, but i still like casual clothes and a buffet lunch more. today was a memorable day. |
